Arc-Addington Fund

The Arc-Addington Fund addresses rural housing needs for the rural community across Wales. It runs a Strategic Rural Housing Scheme for those leaving a non-viable rural business, to allow people to remain living in their community and exit their business with dignity.

Citizens Advice Bureau

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems. The service is free, independent and confidential. Advice is available face-to-face and by telephone. Most bureaux offer home visits and some also provide email advice.

Cruse Bereavement Care Cymru

Cruse Bereavement Care Cymru provides free, confidential support and counselling to anyone who has experienced the death of someone close, whether the death has occurred a few days or many years before. Without help, bereavement can lead to isolation, depression and physical illness. As well as one-to-one help for both adults and children, Cruse Cymru offer support groups and provide training in bereavement awareness for staff who work with bereaved people. Cruse Cymru's trained volunteers can help bereaved people to cope with what has happened and move on.

Farm Crisis Network (FCN)

A UK network of volunteers who understand farming, available to come alongside farming people and families in difficulties of any kind and prepared to relate to all aspects of the situation. We lend a listening ear, offer support and introduce links with sources of relevant professional or practical help and advice where needed.

We work with farmers, farm workers, and those involved in agriculture and horticulture, across the whole of Wales, with on-farm contact where possible or via telephone support and supported links with other organisations or Church contacts.

Mind Cymru

The MindinfoLine offers callers confidential help on a range of mental health issues together with information about other services available locally. Mind also provide a specialised legal service to the public, lawyers and mental health workers.

Twenty Local Mind Associations offer a range of services included supported housing, crisis helplines, drop-in centres, counselling, befriending, advocacy, employment and training schemes, and other services. They can be contacted through MindinfoLine. Our Local Mind Support Team works to support local Mind associations.

RABI (The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution)

RABI helps to provide for the welfare and well being of the farming community, through practical support provided by a qualified welfare team; continuous care of a financial and material nature; financial assistance to provide for essential household equipment and adaptations; residential homes with sheltered housing units attached; and support and fundraising activities from over 50 voluntary committees.

Samaritans

Offer support 24 hours a day for those who need someone to talk to, or are worried about a friend or family member. Local offices are also open for those who want to come in to talk face-to-face. For those who would rather write down what they are feeling there is also an email address.
